My husband and I immediately moved into his seventy-square-foot semi after our wedding. From there, he worked as a full-time truck driver, and I was writing my heart out from the passenger seat. In 2020, after five long years of planning, my husband, our toddler, and I finally purchased and moved to our dream property in northwest Montana. Our second (and final) baby was born just weeks after moving in, and we couldn't be happier.

For now, we have three dozen hens, three dairy goats, our dog Blair (who is now seven), and a small garden that is regularly slayed by mid-summer hard freezes. We are still working on adding a greenhouse, fencing, and barns to prepare for horses, hogs, and cattle again.
